DBO Offers Managed Security Services for Palo Alto Networks TRAPS™ Endpoint protection

Digital BackOffice is now a member of the Palo Alto Networks Nextwave Managed Security Service Provider Program and a channel partner for the Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall platform.  Palo Alto Networks® Traps™ endpoint security protection is now available as a managed service with 24/7 monitoring, management, and support from DBO’s Connecticut based network operations and Class 4 data center.

Palo Alto Traps™ offers advanced endpoint protection with multi-method prevention by stopping known and unknown threats before they compromise endpoint devices and the network.  Palo Alto Networks® Traps™ replaces signature based, legacy antivirus products with proven protection against 0-day malware attacks.  Independent product testing conducted on Traps™ by AVTEST, resulted in a 100% detection rate carried out with 5,623 malware files (AVTest TRAPS Report).

The combination of a complex threat landscape, a shortage of skilled security personnel and the need to reduce CAPEX (capital expenditures) is fueling increased customer demand for managed security services.

According to the latest IDC forecast “Worldwide Endpoint Security Forecast, 2016-2020,” the corporate endpoint market is expected to grow from US$4.46 billion in 2017 to US$5.19 billion in 2020.

Digital BackOffice offers managed services for perimeter security, optical ethernet wide area networks, cloud based VOIP, Wi-Fi wireless and virtual servers.  Digital BackOffice, a business unit of Advanced Corporate Networking headquartered in Milford, CT, has a diverse customer base including K-12 schools, municipalities, state agencies and small to mid-sized businesses.

K-12 schools and libraries may offset the cost of some DBO managed services by applying to the Universal Service Fund (E-Rate) for Category 1 or 2 funding.  Check with USF or your E-Rate consultant.
