Digital BackOffice and Broadview Networks Partner to Bring Cloud Services to Connecticut Businesses, Schools and Town Halls

MILFORD, Conn.—February 4, 2014—Digital BackOffice, a Connecticut-based managed services provider, announced today that it has partnered with Broadview Networks, a leading provider of cloud-based business communication services, to deliver cloud-based voice over internet protocol (VoIP) services to Connecticut businesses, schools and town halls. The partnership between Digital BackOffice and Broadview Networks will allow Connecticut businesses and municipalities to utilize their existing data network infrastructure with OfficeSuite®, Broadview’s cloud-based business phone system.

Broadview’s award-winning cloud-based phone solution, OfficeSuite®, includes an IP-based phone system, unlimited nationwide calling and an intuitive website for quick and easy updates. The system delivers a complete communication solution with state-of-the-art features and applications that require no capital investment, maintenance contracts or additional IT resources. OfficeSuite® allows calls to be re-directed to other offices, mobile phones and home phones with the click of a button via Broadview’s intuitive website. It also allows employees to use any phone at any location while maintaining their own extensions and personal preferences.

“Digital BackOffice’s network provides the service level guarantee necessary to keep you connected every hour of every day,” said Dale Bruckhart, Digital BackOffice’s Vice President. “Combining our in-state network with Broadview’s industry-leading cloud phone system creates a very powerful solution. We look forward to working together to help Connecticut municipalities reach their goals and to function at their highest potentials.”

Broadview has experience working with other statewide entities, including NJEDge.Net, a non-profit technology consortium of academic and research institutions in New Jersey. Broadview’s OfficeSuite® and other services are also available under the Federal Communications Commission’s E-Rate program, which provides discounted technology services to participating schools and libraries.

“We are proud to join in Digital BackOffice’s effort to help connect public institutions in Connecticut,” said Jeff Blackey, Broadview’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “Cloud-based technologies, including our OfficeSuite service, are changing the way we communicate, and we are excited about being able to deliver these services to vital communities, including the education sector.”
